The Lady and Her Beloved Man
As the wind blows
As the wind blows
She sits on the balcony
As the sun slowly glows
She waits patiently
Her maid knows who she’s waiting for
He is the lady’s beloved man
Who she loves more and more
When nobody else can
The man who loves her too
As much as she loves him
At least she thinks he’ll do
As her eyes dimed
As her hair turns grey
She prays he’ll love her daily
But he keeps walking away
And leaves her falls in her deepest agony

Nice poem, Met! :) if you don't explain that 'the man' is the lady's son, maybe I won't know it until now.
ReplyDeletethank you ma'am. i actually didn't let the reader knows who 'the man' is because i let the reader interprets this poem freely. it'll be kind of plot twist for them when they know it
