[Mid-term] Jessica Nathania - The Best Guide (Poem)

The Best Guide

The sun have just greet the city
Yesterday was Friday
The Waves sound pushed her to leaving her favorite yellow bolster
And the remainder of air conditioner that seep into the pillow

She sat on the right
He sat on the left
The clutch pedal is pressed
Move the first gear
Smile to the road straight ahead
The bony hand move the second gear
Wide-awake on the u-turn

The speaker inside is vibrating
No, It is not the bass sound
Yes, he is yelling on every bend
Her heart beats fast
Does she bring the thousand lives behind?
All of those roller-coaster sensation
Was about bring her to the next level
She calls him Dad.

  1. This is nice poem, Jes. Yet, Im still wondering about the function of the first and the second line in the first stanza to the whole content of the poem..
