My Status Shoes
By Tiara Ristyana
Ripped
jeans, dirty shoes, hungry stomach
How he
wishes reality to be a dream
Clothed in
fine shirt, fine shoes
As if he is
bestowed with God’s blessing
Sparks do
have flaws
For fine
shoes are no better than legs to run
That teaches
him
Gold does
not measure one’s blessing
